I.D. and the Vatican?

What do you think about what this article is saying?

What do you think about the I.D. movement?

Have you read any of the books i.e. William Dembski or Micheal Behe's writings

hmm... interesting. I don't pay much attention to the I.D. debate. God made it, that's all I care about. There's a Creation museum opening in Northern Kentucky that I think has been mostly funded by one rich Creationist. It's supposed to a pretty big draw, I guess... maybe it's just that I tend to think in practical terms, so I want to know what difference it makes for us today.

btw, in June I'll become godfather to the newborn daughter of one of my cousins and his wife. I'm pretty excited about it. Another relative is going to be godmother.

He's Catholic. I guess some Protestants also do the godparent thing... but they're just pilfing from Catholics.

I've always been catholic, but I'm becoming Catholic ;-)

Easter Sunday is the big day. Will you and Betsey be received on Easter or did you end up getting pushed back with the move?

I haven't decided what parish to join. There's a church in the West End that was pretty cool that I want to look into. I'm doing RCIA at St. Anthony's, the Conventual Franciscan parish. It's a small church, but I've enjoyed going to Mass there.

Im glad your becoming catholic.

Betsey will be readmitted as soon as she goes to confession.

Im going to start RCIA here this week. Their classes just started i think. So it's a much shorter program. But I haven't been yet so I don't know.

Do you not like St. Martins?

Some parishes have year-round RCIA, so it might be one of those. But I'm sure they wouldn't make you repeat all the stuff you've already heard... twice :)

I just don't feel drawn to St. Martin's, but I do go there for Adoration once or twice a week. Louisville has so many parishes (the most per capita of any diocese in the country, actually) that it doesn't seem fair not to find out what's going on elsewhere.
