sean, happy father's day.

i wish everyone who sees your posts and gets a glimpse into your thoughts here could get a peek at what an amazing father and husband you are...to see the love with which you lead your family--in the big things and in all the little things every single day. issac and i have cause to rejoice. thank you for showing the two of us the love of the Father (and the sacrificial love of the Son)...you help us to know God.

we love you.

You done any more reading on NFP? I've only skimmed through the posts you wrote about it... I'd like to read it more thoroughly when I get a chance and hopefully talk about it on the Sojourn site because the more I hear about NFP the more I don't understand why anyone would choose the pill, Christian or otherwise, except for pure laziness :)

On another note, did you like how I ended that serious discussion on the "Alcohol and SBC" thread with the Catholic and Baptist fishing joke? Apparently none of the Sojourners on the web site think I'm funny. That's too bad because, in my humble opinion, I think I'm hilarious. Thing is, 99% of those seminary students knows that if he or she could have a drink without anyone but Jesus knowing about it, they would do it in a heartbeat. :)(Well, there's also the occasional priest who would know about it if they dared to enter a confessional, but inspiration of the Holy Spirit aside, only Jesus would know.)
